The BNP has appointed a British lawyer to provide legal assistance to party chairperson Khaleda Zia, who is in jail in a graft case. A Bangladesh Biman flight made an emrgency landing at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka Tuesday afternoon. The Dash-8 airliner took off for Syedpur around 12 noon but had to make the emrgency landing 15 minutes later due to technical glitches, a number of sources at the airport said.
