Asian Bangla, Dhaka : BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia’s health condition has not deteriorated since she landed in jail in Zia Charitable Trust corruption case, Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader said today.
“After visiting Khaleda (in jail) recently, Dhaka civil surgeon has said that her health condition is the same as it was when she landed in prison,” the minister said.
Quader also said BNP was “lying” about the health of the party chairman.
The minister said this while visiting Abdullahpur-Bypail highway at Savar’s Jirabo area around 12:30pm.
During the visit, Quader assured that the work on Dhaka-Tangail highway will be completed before Eid-ul-Fitr this year.
